Please choose Original or Perfectly Imperfect.
EAU BAGS begin as nylon waste and are designed to be a bag you’ll reach for every day. Occasionally, a few don't quite meet our usual standards. Rather than letting perfectly good bags go to waste, we've created our Perfectly Imperfect option.
These bags may have minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small fabric pulls, stitching irregularities, marks or slight colour variations. But rest assured, they're still perfectly functional and ready to be loved.
All Perfectly Imperfect purchases are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. View Sale Terms & Conditions.

Size Guide
All EAU BAGS are slow-made and handcrafted by skilled artisans in our dedicated studio in India. Olivia and Claudine visit their studio regularly to spend time with the team and oversee the making of each collection.
Our stripes are made from recycled nylon - an upcycled material created from waste like discarded fishing nets, old carpets and factory off-cuts. These materials are collected, cleaned and melted down before being spun and hand-dyed into new nylon yarn.
The yarn is then woven into our durable striped fabric before being cut, stitched and assembled by hand into your most used bag.
Because these materials have lived a life before becoming an EAU BAG, you may notice subtle variations in colour, texture or stitching. These are not defects, but part of the bag’s story - proof it was made by real hands, from materials that once existed elsewhere.
All EAU BAGS are slow-made and handcrafted in our dedicated studio in India using recycled nylon fabric. Designed for everyday use, each bag is made with durability and longevity in mind. They distress naturally and may feature minor imperfections over time, but that's part of what makes them unique. These are inherent qualities that add to their character and charm.
Caring for EAU BAGS:
*Your bag arrives flat to reduce waste. Just pop items inside for about an hour, and it’ll take its shape.
*Spot clean with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking your bag in water. Do not wash or tumble dry. Let it air dry naturally.
*No bleach, strong detergents, or abrasive cleaners.
*Keep it out of long-term direct sunlight to maintain its vibrant colours. If exposed to direct sunlight the colours will fade.
*Our bags are made for everyday use, but overfilling them can place unnecessary strain on the stitching.

Our own dedicated studio, instead of the cheapest factory
Because we want to protect the craftsmanship that can so easily be lost to mass production. And if our name is on it, we want to know the hands behind it are cared for, the craft is valued and every detail is made with intention.
Paying more for every bag, instead of negotiating every last dollar out of it
Because over 60 pairs of hands can go into making just one EAU BAG. Every step is someone’s time, livelihood and craft, and behind those hands are families and communities we genuinely care for.
Getting on the plane, instead of managing it all from behind a screen
Because somewhere along the way, this became so much more than making EAU BAGS. We’ve been welcomed into their lives, their homes and their families. We’ve shared meals, celebrations and watched our lives grow together. The magic of India and the people we’ve found there will stay with us forever.
Developing things ourselves, instead of taking the easy route
We source our own materials, invest in innovation, make mistakes and keep trying. Because while our ideas can be copied, the years of relationships, knowledge and work behind them can’t be.
Recycled materials cost more, but we believe there’s so much value in what already exists
It still amazes us that nylon waste can be cleaned, melted down and transformed into something entirely new, fun, functional and made to be used every day. From waste to your most-used bag. That will never not blow our minds.
