Growing up in Brisbane with a French father and an Aussie mum, sisters Olivia and Claudine truly had the best of both worlds - a love of European elegance and a down-to-earth Australian spirit. The name itself - EAU [pronounced “oh”] - is French for “water,” a nod to their heritage and a reflection of the fluid, effortless style they bring to every piece.

Every EAU BAG is slow-made and handmade in India from recycled nylon rescued from landfill, transformed into a premium, thick-weave fabric that feels as good as it looks. Behind the brand, Olivia’s years spent living in Bali, the Sunshine Coast, and Melbourne have sharpened her eye for sourcing unique, beautiful materials with a story to tell. Claudine’s background in communications and interior design brings an innate sense of colour, balance, and style, ensuring every bag feels as good to hold as it does to see.
